About Essie

Essie Bell is a wife and mother of two.  She grew up in Utah but now currently lives in Iowa.  Most of her days are filled with playing with her two little ones.

Reading books together is one of their favorite activities.  Essie realized how important good books were for kids and how impactful the messages could be.  That is why she decided to start writing her own books that would help inspire young readers and listeners.  

Essie Bell graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a degree in Recreation Management and an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation. She is a Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist.  That means she loves helping people while still having fun
